Ken Stern is an independent moderator and branding
consultant based in New York City who provides a full
range of qualitative market research services and branding
expertise, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Ken infuses creativity, imagination and excitement into techniques such as focus groups, one-on-one interviews, ethnography, video diaries, social media and ideation.

orientation, based on his broad experience in both agency and
corporate environments.
Before starting his own consultancy, Ken was Director, Account and
Strategic Planning in the New York office of Ketchum Advertising.
Prior to joining Ketchum, Ken was Director of Advertising and Creative
Research for the Grocery Products Division of Ralston Purina Company. He
and his department were responsible for developing, implementing and
analyzing all creative and advertising related research.
Ken’s first agency position was with Ted Bates Advertising/New York where
he conducted qualitative and quantitative research for a variety of Bates clients.
